One gift.
Four wells.

We committed to help provide one well in India. That gift became four-and the water was made freely available to everyone.

Our partners Dale and Jeanne Scholten of New Harvest Ministries International brought us a practical need: a community needed a well. Through the generosity of JMICF and TMM partners, Terry and Reneé committed the amount requested for the work.

One gift went further

Then the local team in India found a driller who could provide four wells for the amount set aside for one. The same gift could reach more people than we had first expected.

Four wells meant four places where people could draw water. The water was available freely, so the benefit extended beyond the people directly connected with the ministry.

A practical expression of love

A well becomes part of everyday life: water to carry home, prepare food, and meet a family's needs. A gift given from far away becomes something a neighbor can use close to home.

That is why we value the relationships behind this work. Dale and Jeanne and their local partners knew the need, found a way forward, and helped turn generosity into something useful for the communities they serve.

What we can do together

Our part began with a commitment to one well. Faithful work on the ground helped that commitment become four. We are grateful to every partner whose generosity helps us respond when opportunities like this arise.
