An orphanage in Zimbabwe was planting crops by hand. A tractor, a disc, and a planter helped its work reach beyond its own grounds.
Growing food was already part of the orphanage's work. But preparing and planting the land by hand meant demanding manual labor. Through Jackie Mize International Children's Foundation, that effort received practical support: equipment for the task.
The result reached beyond the orphanage itself. The ministry reports that the orphanage went on to provide food for other orphanages and people in its village.
More than a piece of equipment
