All that is in the Father’s hand is YOURS!

I have just returned from ministry in Canada and then in Charlotte, NC. Renee was in Houston as her mother just had her 98th birthday. We are very seldom in two different locations, but I had inadvertently scheduled these meetings on this very important birthday.

Jesus tells us a true story in Luke chapter 15. We have all heard it, and even the world knows of it.

Luke 15:11-32, “A certain man had two sons: And the younger of them said to his father, Father, give me the portion of goods that falleth to me. And he divided unto them his living. And not many days after the younger son gathered all together, and took his journey into a far country, and there wasted his substance with riotous living. And when he had spent all, there arose a mighty famine in that land; and he began to be in want. And he went and joined himself to a citizen of that country; and he sent him into his fields to feed swine. And he would fain have filled his belly with the husks that the swine did eat, and no man gave unto him. And when he came to himself, he said, “How many hired servants of my father’s have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger! I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee, and am no more worthy to be called thy son: make me as one of thy hired servants.” And he arose and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him. And the son said unto him, “Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in thy sight, and am no more worthy to be called thy son.” But the father said to his servants, “Bring forth the best robe, and put it on him; and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet: And bring hither the fatted calf, and kill it; and let us eat, and be merry: For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found.” And they began to be merry. Now his elder son was in the field: and as he came and drew nigh to the house, he heard music and dancing. And he called one of the servants and asked what these things meant. And he said unto him, “Thy brother is come; and thy father hath killed the fatted calf, because he hath received him safe and sound.” And he was angry, and would not go in: therefore, came his father out, and intreated him. And he answering said to his father, “Lo, these many years do I serve thee, neither transgressed I at any time thy commandment: and yet thou never gavest me a kid, that I might make merry with my friends: But as soon as this thy son was come, which hath devoured thy living with harlots, thou hast killed for him the fatted calf.” And he said unto him, “Son, thou art ever with me, and all that I have is thine. It was meet that we should make merry and be glad: for this thy brother was dead and is alive again; and was lost and is found.”

What a powerful account. Always remember, when Jesus uses the word “certain,” He is telling a true account, not a parable, metaphor, or an analogy. This really happened.

We have always called it “The Story of the Prodigal Son,” and it is that, but so much more than we have realized over the years. I was ministering in a great partner church recently, and in the hotel room, as I was getting ready for service, the Lord ministered this to me: there are people in service today that are like the prodigal son, but there are also people like the elder brother, the good son, the son that lived right, was loyal and faithful, and stayed with his father. Most people focus on the fact that he was upset and hurt when he saw the party for the wayward son, and there is that, BUT look what the father said to him: “Son, thou art ever with me, and all that I have is thine.”

He was telling the good son, “All I have is in your hands. You own everything. At any time, you could have had a party. You could have had the ring, the robe, the shoes, and the fatted calf. It all belongs to you!” I shared that with the congregation that morning a couple of weeks ago. Don’t be frustrated, and do not frustrate the grace of God, but realize you can have it all. All that is in the Father’s hand is yours! The party, ring, robe, the shoes, and the fatted calf. Your faithfulness is not overlooked but rewarded. What a word, what a promise!

I have stayed close to town for a few weeks as we finally found and moved into a new home. That is a major blessing to Renee and I. Thank you for praying and agreeing with us. Also, thank you to many of you who have sent personal money and housewarming gifts. That is so special, and we feel your love and care for us.

Don’t give up on our Israel Pastors Conference. We are still going just as soon as possible with all that is going on over there. The money is still in the bank, and $30,000.00 has been paid as a deposit to the hotel. You remember we have 70 born-again, Spirit-filled Israeli pastors who have repeatedly asked me to come and teach them the Word of Faith. I believe that event will affect that whole nation and the last days!

We also have Romania, Mexico, and the South Pacific (Pacific Rim) ahead for this year. Be in prayer for us and those precious ministry opportunities. In June I am the keynote speaker for the National Convention for the Full Gospel Business Men’s Fellowship International (FGBMFI) in downtown Houston. Please join us in prayer for that time of ministry.

Remember to watch us on our “More Than Conquerors” broadcast on YouTube, Rumble, Faith TV, KBTV, and other platforms. A new broadcast every Thursday and hundreds in the archives. Check our website and calendar for upcoming meetings and events.

We love you and pray for you daily. Send us your prayer requests and praise reports.

Until all have heard,
Terry L. Mize
